A large customer-facing SaaS estate was distributed across Akamai edge configuration. The migration needed to preserve application behaviour, certificates, customer communication, security controls and rollback while moving toward Cloudflare.

Evidence supports more than 900 Akamai edge hostnames in scope. Recurring CDN cost reduced from approximately $33.7k per month to approximately $18.9k per month, a reduction of around 44%.
